All of a sudden we have to question our own sense of trust. Who we trust and why has to be analyzed to a higher degree than before. Only because something is said often and said loudly and with conviction doesn’t mean it’s true. And to try to decode the wave of information we willingly absorb becomes too much, leaving us apathetic and exhausted.

The day we stopped reading to learn, information became less valuable. Now we read to confirm what we already know which stops personal and societal progress. It’s sad but totally predictable and understandable.
