Born and raised in Sweden I used to see the strollers outside cafe's and grocery stores. If you've seen how these kids are bundled up you kind of get why you couldn't bring them inside and unwrap the little guys without waking them up. In Sweden they also have outdoor daycare centers where kids eat, sleep and play outside all day in all kinds of weather. The kids love it but the turnover rate among childcare workers are really high in these centers. (Slush, rain, mud, and total darkness by 4 pm in the winter--need I say more).

I used to let my kids sleep outside in the back yard here in California but I would never dream of leaving my kids outside unsupervised. It's just foolish to trust people you don't know with something you're not prepared to lose.
