It’s so hard to say I’m sorry. Maybe this is because we are so afraid of the consequences. Will you still love me after I admit I was wrong? Will you use my admittance against me at some point? Can I trust that my words will be received as a gift to our relationship rather than as a weapon? Maybe I am sorry is so hard to say because it’s so hard to say it and move on?

Thank you for being so honest about your struggles. And thank you for fighting so hard.
